A subject that is beautiful in itself gives no suggestion to the artist. It lacks imperfection.

From Insight to Impact: Creative Neuroscience for Performers
What is ACT!?
Active Creative Transformation is the only composite life-changing approach based on neuroscience and studies on aesthetic perception, specifically designed and developed for creatives and performers. ACT! brings together the fundamental characteristics of today’s four major help services models: consulting, coaching, counselling and psychotherapy, which make it a true all-in-one healing path.
It is a structured pathway of transformation that integrates psychological techniques and methodologies, organised into two main phases, and designed to lead the client towards deep and lasting personal change. The initial phase is intended to guide the client in resolving identified issues, usually stemming from limiting beliefs, emotional blocks, and outdated or misleading mental models, through the exploration of early life experiences and the recognition of all parts of the Self. The second phase, on the other hand, is dedicated to defining and achieving career and life goals, developing awareness, and strengthening decision-making abilities.
Semantic analysis of the acronym: ACT!
active creative transformation!
Active: unlike many therapeutic techniques and methodologies, ACT! establishes a continuous exchange, granting the client a consistently active role and a position of empowerment throughout the process.
Creative: the distinctive feature of ACT! is its creative approach. The entire process of personal transformation makes use of sensory and cognitive stimuli, including their synaesthetic interpretation, employing form, sound, and colour as channels of artistic expression and perceptual processing for the client.
Transformation: the ultimate aim of ACT! is to activate within the client an ongoing process of self-discovery and revolutionary insight, capable of generating radical change and inspiring a higher level of self-determination, leading to the achievement of personal desires and goals: a true personal transformation.
!: the final sign in the acronym underscores the presence and importance of the values expressed by this punctuation: emotion, feeling, and the expression of subjectivity. It also encompasses three distinct functions: to signal an emphatic tone, to highlight the urgency of self-care, and to emphasise the dynamism and effectiveness of the entire transformative process.
Who is ACT! for?
Being personally connected to the world of the performing arts, and having therefore had the opportunity to deeply understand the challenges that characterise the lives and careers of performers and, more broadly, of creatives, I developed ACT! in collaboration with opera director and teacher of stagecraft at the conservatoire Lev Pugliese, as a composite and transformative approach specifically designed to address the difficulties of this field.
Nevertheless, ACT! also encompasses the essential features of the main personal support models widely used today, thus proving to be a comprehensive and powerful instrument of transformation, suitable for anyone wishing to change, grow, and improve, as well as for those who want to enhance their physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.
